Basic Rules of the Weather System
1. Weather Display Location and Information
Fixed Location: The active weather effect and its remaining duration are displayed at the top of the March Queue interface, updated in real-time.
Interactive Feature: Tap the weather icon to open the Weather Report interface. Monica will show you three possible upcoming weather types with associated probabilities (e.g., Sunny (35%), Foggy (40%), Rain (25%)).
⏱ Note: While probabilities are shown, the actual duration of each weather is unpredictable!
You can toggle between Local Time and Server Time on the Weather Report page, making it easier to plan your actions (e.g., marching, upgrades) based on your preference.
Weather Independence Between Servers
Each Season Group includes 8 servers, but weather is entirely independent for each one. Adjacent zones may have completely different weather (e.g., Zone A: Sunny, Zone B: Acid Rain). You can strategically teleport to another server to benefit from favorable weather (e.g., Rainbow).
⚠️ Important: Weather effects only apply to the server map your base is currently located on. If you migrate to another server, your base will be immediately affected by that server’s current weather—including all associated buffs and debuffs.
2、Weather Types & Effects
After the Season begins, weather changes according to the following rules:
Day 1–2 (Start of Season): Weather is fixed as Cloudy, with no effects (a transition period).
Starting from the 3rd day: Weather changes randomly at irregular intervals each day (7 total weather types, including 1 neutral + 3 beneficial + 3 adverse).
▶ Neutral Weather (No Effects)
Cloudy: No impact on gameplay, acts as a transition state.
▶ Beneficial Weather (Boost Battle and Growth)
Sunny: +30% Base Profession EXP from monster kills (Core weather for fast leveling at the start of the season.).
Suggestion:At the beginning of the season, make sure to take advantage of "Sunny" weather. Prioritize killing monsters and event targets on the World Map during Sunny weather to quickly reach Profession Level 40 and unlock Season skills.
Rainbow:Passive EXP Generation (suitable for Idle accumulation).
Automatically generates a small amount of Profession EXP over time while online. During Rainbow weather, no combat buffs were provided, but perfect for resource gathering and idle EXP gain. This not only replenishes daily required Resources but also periodically boosts Profession EXP to level up characters. A win-win situation!
Light Rain:Troops cannot carry Virus stacks (more stable PVP defense, easier PVE challenges!).
PVP (Combat):Attacker units cannot carry virus stacks, and the Defender takes reduced virus damage, giving a significant defensive advantage!
PVE (World Map Zombies/Dungeons):Squads cannot carry virus stacks, and failing a challenge will not result in additional penalties from accumulated virus stacks (e.g., fewer resource deductions for failing high-level Doom Elite or Zombie stages).
Suggestion: Take advantage of ""Light Rain"" weather to challenge higher-level Doom Elite or Zombie stages. Even if you fail, you won’t accumulate virus stacks. Great time to push the first kill of each level (to obtain Seasonal Event Rewards) to quickly build an early advantage!"
Adverse Weather (Increased Challenge Difficulty)
Foggy:Virus stacks carried by monsters +1 (Zombies become tougher during attacks. Pay attention to PVE plans and City Clash plans during this period).
PVE Challenge:In scenarios such as challenging wild monsters, Doomsday Elites, etc., toxin stacks will accumulate very quickly. For example, reaching one stack will result in one Severely Wounded Unit every 300 seconds, and reaching 20 stacks will reduce damage taken, among other effects, leading to increased Total Losses.
City Clash:Pay attention to the City Clash at the start of the Season. There are six waves of Infected Zombies near the Military Base, all of which are higher-level zombies requiring higher Resistance. If your Resistance is below the required level, your team will carry Virus Stacks back to the city after the battle.
Alliance Collaboration Needs:As Virus Stacks increase, affected alliance members may require more frequent cure support. It is recommended that the alliance arrange for more members to be online in advance to provide mutual assistance, ensuring timely removal of negative statuses and maintaining the overall Alliance Status.
Acid Rain:Periodically increases Virus Stacks (continuously stacking negative effects, prioritize clearing them!).
Core Mechanism:In acid rain environments, the virus stacks of squads will continuously accumulate over time (cannot be avoided by enhancing virus antibodies!), leading to defense reduction (e.g., HP decrease), inefficient production, and potentially triggering restrictions on gameplay if the stacks become too high.
Countermeasures:Conventional methods to enhance Virus Resistance (such as upgrading the Virus Research Institute or using the Pumpkin Cauldron) are ineffective. The only solution is to actively clear the virus stack or cross-server to a server not affected by acid rain.
PVP Special Opportunity:While acid rain poses challenges for PVE, it creates a sudden strike opportunity for PVP! The acid rain environment can be used to rapidly accumulate toxins and tactically spread infection to enemies (acid rain makes it harder for enemies to clear viruses).
For example: Initiate by having your troops carry the virus, then quickly spread virus to infect key enemy units during attacks (bringing them significant virus debuffs at high speed), creating an opportunity for a sudden strike for the alliance.
Windy: March Speed -30% (a key challenge for PVP march planning and support efficiency!).
Core Impact:All troop movement speed is reduced by 30%, significantly affecting long-distance marching and support efficiency in PVP! Whether it's a Rallied Attack, cross-map assistance, or Defense Response, marching time will be greatly extended (e.g., a 10-minute journey may stretch to 13-14 minutes). If strategies are not adjusted in advance, you may miss critical combat windows (e.g., delayed support or Rallied Attack).
📌Commanders should adjust their strategies in advance based on probability hints (e.g., "Fog (40%)" being the highest probability) but must be prepared for "actual weather may not match the forecast.
